A new eatery specialising in milkshakes and ‘hot and cold desserts’ is to open in the town centre.

Kaspa’s, a new dessert house, have submitted an application to Wrexham Council requesting permission to display illuminated signage for their new branch at 3a Priory Street.

The signage would be in place from March 2017 – August 2030.

Up until recently the unit has been used as a studio space for a local dance company – however under the new proposals permission is sought to change the use of 3a Priory Street from class A1 (retail) to A3 (restaurants and cafe).

The Kaspa’s restaurant in Wrexham will be the first in north Wales – with the nearest branch to the area being in Liverpool.

A total of nine jobs will be created – with the application stating that five full-time and four part-time jobs will be available.

The business is the second to open on Priory Street in recent months, with Wedding store ‘Wed2b’ moving into the unit next store at the tail end of 2016.
