Mystery Stench ‘Making People Feel Sick’

A smell has been lingering over a part of the Wrexham area this afternoon, with people feeling ill due to it.

One reader got in touch to say: “Theres a funny smell going over Rhosymedre, Plas Madoc and Cefn Mawr and I was wondering what it was as its making my dog ill”, another cited a ‘horrible stench’ making them feel ill this afternoon.

Lorraine has said: “Just driven back on the main road from Cefn and the strong smell is still there, starts from by the Kingdom Hall disappears by the time you get to the roundabout for Ruabon.”

Daryl Stephenson said: “Just drove through through there and it honks! It’s a weird smell to can’t put my finger on what it is!”
