Motorists are being warned of potential delays on the A483 and A5 near Chirk as police escort the transportation of abnormal loads in the area.

From 10am this morning the loads will be escorted daily from the A483 in Chirk, along the A5 in Llangollen and Corwen and up towards a wind farm in Brenig.

North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit say the work is likely to last 14 week so disruptions are likely, however attempts will be made to keep them to a minimum.
