A mother and daughter from Wrexham are looking to share the joy of reading by hiding books for children to find and share.

Debbie Camps and her six-year-old daughter, Amelia, say there were inspired by Look 4 A Book UK, a craze which is currently sweeping the nation.

It sees book lovers hide stories for children or adults in various locations and encourages the readers to do ‘re-hide them’ once they have completed the books.

Debbie said she and her daughter are continuing the craze locally by hiding children’s books – including plans to hide one in Chester Zoo.

She explained: “Amelia wanted to share books she had already read with other children

“Amelia and her big sister are hiding two in Chirk, one being near the canal. The rest are being hidden in play parks and country parks in and around Wrexham.

“The clues will be on the Facebook page ‘Look for a book North Wales (Wrexham and surrounding areas)’.

You can find out information on where you can find the books and how you can get involved, here.
