Gritters have been working through the night to keep the roads open in the area.

There was extra snow overnight with freezing temperatures, with on and off flurries due through until lunchtime.

The top picture is of Regent Street looking towards Mold Road, taken at 11:10am. Roads are clear, with slushy pavements.

A yellow weather warning is still in place for snow and ice until 6pm, despite the forecasts indicating a sunny afternoon ahead.

This evening temperatures will drop again ahead of what is predicted to be a worse day of snow tomorrow.

Sunday is currently under an amber warning of snow, with heavy snow predicted for most of the day.

As always we will be keeping an eye on Wrexham & the surrounding area and will post updates…
