A weather warning for fog has been issued by the Met Office today – with visibility expected to fall below 100 metres in some places.

Wrexham, along with large parts of north east Wales and England, are included in the yellow weather warning, which is in place from 7pm this evening until 11am on Thursday 10th January.

The Met Office say that the fog is expected to become “increasingly widespread” through this evening and into tomorrow morning.

There are also warnings that visibility will fall below 100 metres in places.

Further details released by the chief forecaster, state that the “fog will thin slowly later on Thursday morning, although some patches may persist into the afternoon in the west of the warning area”.
