Men Posing as Police Officers Tried to Seize Dog From Owners
Residents are being urged to remain vigilant after two men purporting to be North Wales Police officers tried to seize a dog from its home.
The two men who were dressed in suits attended an address in the Tan Y Bryn area of Buckley on Monday 7th September.
The two men who are described as white, wearing white shirts and black suits, one was approximately 6’ with stubble the other clean shaven and shorter. The men claimed that they were there to seize the occupier’s dog under the dangerous dogs act.
When challenged they refused to provide identification and left in possibly a dark coloured vehicle.
If a police officer, or anybody purporting to be a police officer, attends at your address ask to see their identification and confirm the validity with the Force Control Room on 101 if you have any concerns.
