A memory walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society will be held in Wrexham this weekend.

Fundraisers, including the Mayor of Wrexham, Cllr Rob Walsh and MP Ian Lucas will take part in the 1.5 mile walk around the Erddig estate on Sunday morning.

Starting at 11:30am from the main courtyard, the event aims to raise money in support of the work carried out by the Alzheimer’s Society.

There will also be the chance to experence what day to day life is like for people living with dementia with the virtual Dementia Tour Bus.

Invented twenty years ago, the Virtual Dementia Tour Bus is the only scientifically and medically proven method of giving a person with a healthy brain an experience of what dementia might be like and it is coming to Wrexham.
