Memorial To Wrexham Mining Heritage To Be Paid This Weekend

Llay Brass band will pay tribute to Wrexham’s mining heritage on Saturday 21st September at Wrexham Museum and Archives.

Llay Welfare Band will play on the forecourt of the Museum marking the anniversary of the Gresford Colliery Disaster in 1934.

North Wales Miners Trust Association will also be on hand to give guided tours of their new mobile mining visitor centre.

The event will take place from 10 am until 3 pm and is free and suitable for all ages.
