Mecca Bingo launches its ‘Everyone Deserves a Christmas’ hamper appeal

Mecca Bingo is reaching out to the local community to help us support 50 families this Christmas.

The organisation, based in Wrexham town centre, is appealing to any businesses that are able to donate some items towards this year’s ‘Everyone Deserves a Christmas’ campaign.

Mecca will be acting a hub to collect hamper items and sponsors for hampers.

Hamper Items required are:

– Shopping Vouchers
– Peanuts
– Packs of stuffing
– Tinned veg, potatoes, ham
– Cartons of Juice
– Mince Pies
– Gravy Granules
– Christmas Crackers
– Pickled Onions
– Cheese Biscuits
– Shortbread Biscuits
– Sweet Pickle
– Chocolate Log
– Christmas Cake
– Crisps
– Carton of Custard
– Cranberry Sauce

A spokesperson said: “This year has been difficult for everyone. So we are trying our best to work with our local charities to help ensure the most vulnerable families get a Christmas this year.

“Your company will be mentioned as contributing, or a sponsor, if you sponsor a hamper for £50.

“Any other gift items, we can use for charity games, where all proceeds, will go to this appeal.

“Your support is vital right now, so please let our businesses pull together for our Wrexham vulnerable community and show people that we care.”
