Man’s Body Found Near Chirk Aqueduct

A man’s body has been found near the aqueduct in Chirk.

Shortly after 8:50pm on Wednesday 20th July, North Wales Police and other emergency services attended a location close to the aqueduct in Chirk near Wrexham where they discovered the body of an adult man.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.

North Wales Police are not treating his death as suspicious and the matter has been passed to HM Coroner.
