A city centre mannequin was subject to an attack on Friday afternoon.

Wrexham’s Inspector Luke Hughes said, “We had a pretty steady weekend, although Friday afternoon saw a shocking and terrifying assault in a city centre…

“A yet to be identified male violently assaulted a mannequin on display… the beating I’m told was savage and on receipt of the CCTV I will consider circulation to aid identification and to safeguard all local mannequins.

“Quite what motivated this moment of madness is beyond me.

“I`m also told the mannequin did nothing to provoke the assault and is being supported by management.”

If and when the CCTV is circulated it will be shared on Wrexham.com
