Man Taken To Hospital Following RTC In Rhostyllen

Update: Monday 12:11 – A man with neck and back pain was taken to the Wrexham Maelor hospital last night following a road accident on the Wrexham Road.

Emergency services were called to an incident on the Wrexham Road, Rhostyllen at 7:34pm yesterday evening.

A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances were sent to the scene.

The fire service and ambulance service are currently at a crash on the Wrexham Road, involving one vehicle on its roof with occupant inside.

A number of people have also contacted us via Twitter to say that the main Wrexham Road has been closed off both ways.

Kristen also got in touch to say that she had seen three police cars and two ambulances.

Update: An eyewitness has said that they believe one man was driving the car that ‘flipped’ after passing them, and they said he is thankfully ‘fine’.

Update 8.40PM

Police and fire crews are still in attendance, with Amberon providing assistance to emergency teams by blocking off Ruabon Road towards Rhostyllen at the Pentrefelin Bridge and on the other side of the incident adjacent to the Co-op in Rhostyllen.
