Man flown to hospital with serious injuries after reports of assault in Wrexham

A man has sustained serious injuries following a reported assault in Wrexham.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Erddig Road at 11:15am this morning.

A man was flown to hospital with serious injuries.

A 19-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman have been arrested and are currently in police custody.

Officers remain in attendance to the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

A/Inspector Rob Stevenson said: “This was an isolated incident and I would like to thank the public for their assistance and patience while we responded to this matter.
