Man Dies After Being Hit By Train

A man has died after being hit by a train close to Ruabon.

“Police and paramedics were called at 10.15am to the line near Ruabon after a report that a person had been struck by a train. British Transport Police and North Wales Police officers attended the incident, which is currently being treated as non-suspicious”.

The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Contradictory information was provided to people on a stopped train close by who were told that the casualty was alive and was being taken to hospital.
