A male has today been sentenced to three years in prison for offences of burglary.

Floyd Vassell has today been sentenced to three years imprisonment at Mold Crown Court for offences of burglary in the Wrexham area.

Det Inspector Neil Harrison said in response to the sentence: “Vassell is a career criminal who through his offending has caused his victims a great deal of upset and distress. The sentence reflects the harm that he has caused to the community of Wrexham and will ensure that they are protected from further offending.

“Due to habitual offenders, such as Vassell, Wrexham saw a spike in offences and North Wales Police are working extremely hard with the Easy Street campaign, to target those responsible for burglary, making people feel safer in their homes.”

Det Insp Harrison added: “I would urge anyone with can assist with the campaign to contact the Police with any information they may have by calling 101 or alternatively by phoning Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
