Male Injured Following Town Centre Assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a male was assaulted on Wrexham High Street early yesterday afternoon.

The victim was a young man walking past Ladbrokes towards Eagles Meadow at 2.30pm on Wednesday March 18th, when another man on a mountain bike pulled up alongside him, dismounted and punched him in the face. The victim needed hospital treatment for a cut to the forehead.

The suspect was among a group of eight to ten males who then made off down Yorke Street.
