Llay death ‘not suspicious’

North Wales Police and Wales Ambulance Service were called to a property on Ffordd Mabon, Llay early Saturday morning following reports of a medical emergency.

A statement released by North Wales Police said: “Sadly the female involved who was taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital sadly passed away”, describing the death as ‘unexplained’.

Investigations have been carried out over the weekend, and Police have said this morning: “The police are not treating the death as suspicious.”

The coroner has been informed.
