The store announced on their Facebook page on Thursday morning that they were having a closing down sale due to their lease in the town coming to an end.

The family run, which specialies in unique furnishing opened on Eagles Meadow in 2011 and has stores in Llandudno, Chester and Shrewsbury.

In a comment posted on the Listers Interiors Facebook page on Thursday said:

“Thank-you for the kind messages! We are very sad to be leaving Wrexham. We were told last week by our landlord that a well known high street chain have taken over our store in Wrexham. We’ve all enjoyed running the store and had the privilege of meeting some of our friendliest customers. On a more positive note – Business is booming and has never been so good in fact our new website has increased sales by 20%. We are excited about the future of listers and look forward to seeing you at one of our other stores.”

The remaining stores in Chester, Llandudno and Shrewsbury will remain open.
