Overnight areas close to Wrexham saw light dustings of snow as winter starts to set in.

Louise Williams sent us the above picture of a road in Bwlchgwyn just before midnight, saying “Luckily not too bad at the moment with snow but slippy due to it now freezing!”

Earlier in the evening we were told of snow up on Minera, and when we checked the weather radar we saw a patch of snowy weather heading north west to south east.

Jack Bellis told us of Ponciau having snow on ground, and Amy Kettlewell said she lives in Minera and her street was ‘covered’ with snow.
