Johnstown collision witnesses urged to contact police

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a road traffic collision in Wrexham yesterday morning.

At 09:50 officers received a report of a one-vehicle collision on the B5605 Wrexham Road in Johnstown involving a silver Mercedes C-Class AMG.

The elderly male driver was airlifted to hospital in Stoke, where he remains with serious injuries.

PC Einion Huws of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses. He said: “I am urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have been travelling in the area and who may have dash cam footage to contact us.”
