Johnstown coffee morning raises £1100 for Macmillan Cancer Support

A coffee morning has raised over £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event, organised by Gladys, Wilf and friends, took place at Ffordd Pentre, Nant Parc, Johnstown on Monday.

Stalls were provided for cakes, books and bric-a-brac and a raffles with various prizes.

Cllr David A Bithell Local Member for Johnstown said that £1100 was raised and it was fantastic achievement by Gladys, Wilf and Friends to raise money for such very worthwhile cause.
