Six jobs are set to go as a Wrexham high street clothes stores closes its doors for the final time on Sunday.

Wrexham.com spotted closing down sale signs on Mad House on Regent Street last week and the company have now confirmed that the store is closing at the end of this week.

The store employs six full and part time staff and mostly sells designer mens clothing including Calvin Klein and Nike.

It’s the latest in a line of stores to close on Regent Street, with Clintons Cards and Game amongst those to close on the street this year.

At our last count there were more than 10 empty units on the street, although a shop has recently moved into the former River Island unit.

We ran a feature on the empty shops of Regent Street which trigerred a healthy debate on the subject in our forums.
