A483 Closed For Several Hours After Incident

A number of people have contacted us about an incident on the A483 , believed to be southbound near the Mold Road junction.

Update 10:30am Sundayplease click here for further information on this incident, sadly a local man was hit by a car.

Update 11pm: Traffic Wales are reporting the road will be closed until 1:30am.

We have been told that Ruthin road has been closed off due a road traffic collision, and that traffic has backed up to the B&Q roundabout.

Emergency services are on scene with around six police cars responding, with four of them arriving in the past ten minutes to help.

North Wales Police have Tweeted to confirm that the road is closed southbound between Jct 5 & 6, and that diversions will be put in place.

It is currently unknown how long the road will be closed off for.
