Just after 6pm this evening three cars were involved in a crash on the A483 Wrexham bypass. One car ended up on its side – pictured above.

Emergency services including three fire engines attended the incident which occurred near junction 4 – also known as the Ruthin Road turn off.

Two people have been taken to the nearby Maelor Hospital.

Sarah Parry who went past the scene said “Nasty crash on the A483 towards Wrexham just before B&Q roundabout – car flipped. Big queues. Might want to avoid!”
