Heavy Rain Results in Flooding in Bangor-on-Dee
Torrential rain over the past few days has resulted in flooding across Bangor-on-Dee.
Over the past few days much of north Wales has been hit by torrential rain and strong gales, which has left many parts of the region with serious flooding.
As a result of the heavy rain, the river in Bangor-on-Dee has burst its banks – causing river levels to rise and roads around the area to flood.
Flood warnings remain in place at Bangor-on-Dee, along with the Lower Dee Valley from Llangollen to Trevalyn Meadows. Details issued by Gov.uk state that river levels at Farndon are expected to peak today.
The next few days are expected to be drier and less windy than of late and will see temperatures dip to what we’re used to expecting this time of year towards the end of next week.
However a yellow weather warning from the Met Office is currently in place for Wednesday, with heavy rain expected throughout the day.

After Wednesday showers are currently forecast for Thursday and Saturday, however the weather is expected to be cooler and the rain not as a heavy as it has been recently.
