Appointments for those aged 40 and over who have yet to receive a first dose of a coronavirus vaccine, are now available.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is asking people registered with Crane Medical Centre, Chirk Surgery, Gardden Road Surgery and Beech Avenue practice to come forward for the Astra Zeneca vaccine.

This will take place at Plas Madoc Leisure Centre, Llangollen Road LL14 3HL on Thursday 20 May between 5pm and 9pm.

A spokesperson for the health board said: “Please ensure you are not currently self-isolating, symptomatic of COVID or had a positive test in the last 28 days.

“If you have an existing appointment, please keep to the original date.”

Appointments for those over the age of 40 in those surgeries can be booked here.
