The fire service attended another fire in Gwersyllt late last night.

UPDATE: It is confirmed this morning a fence and a hedge was damaged in this latest fire.

Original story from last night:
Fire crews were called to Gwersyllt just after 10pm.

The fire was believed to be on a back path behind the Spar shop on First Avenue, with crews attending via Heol Hyfryd. This area is close by to areas previously targeted by suspected arsons in the last week.

Local resident Donna told us last night: “Its getting worse around here they need to be caught”.

Andrew sent us the above picture of the emergency services attending the incident still at 10:40pm.

Last weekend we reported on several trees and fences being set alight (here) with members of the community joining forces to clear up the area affected.

The Arson Reduction Team requested help from people to identify and report those responsible for setting such fires – you can read that appeal here.
