Grenade Found Near A483 in Rossett

A grenade has been found close next to the A483 in Rossett this afternoon.

Update: The police and ‘bomb squad’ have left the scene, with the road fully open to traffic.

The grenade was found just after junction 7, with North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit tweeted the below pictures after the discovery.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (‘Bomb Squad’) has been deployed to the scene.

The A483 remains open in both directions as usual with traffic unaffected.
