Four Poppy Appeal & hospice charity boxes stolen in Llay break in

The Llay Royal British Legion was broken into overnight Saturday into Sunday, with four charity boxes stolen.

The above CCTV image was released yesterday along with the following statement: “We had a break in last night. Here is a capture from the CCTV of two lads, who caused a little damage and stole the charity boxes from behind the bars.

“If you know anyone who might know something about this, please get in touch in strictest confidence on [email protected].”

“These lads took two Poppy Appeal charity boxes and two Nightingale House Charity Boxes, so please do share any information that you have as we would love to be able to name them.”

Anyone with information is also urged to call police on the 101 number, or Crime Stoppers entirely anonymously via 0800 555 111
