A former restaurant in Wrexham could soon be demolished under new plans submitted to the local authority.

It has been proposed that the former Franke and Benny’s on Plas Coch is knocked down to make way for extra parking.

The building has been vacant since 2020 after The Restaurant Group, the company which owns Frankie and Benny’s, confirmed that it was amongst 125 sites to close.

Wrexham’s second Frankie and Benny’s restaurant on Eagles Meadow was also closed.

The applicants say that the demolition of the building will make way for additional parking.

The proposals will be considered for approval by Wrexham Council at a later date.
