A development of flats is proposed for 760 sq ft of ‘greenfield land’ off Jeffreys Road in Borras.

A planning application has been submitted for the site opposite the entrance to Ffordd Alun and will contain four flats in a new building.

The application describes the site as ‘greenfield land’ and says ‘the site forms a small section of Acton Park’. The documents submitted to Wrexham Council say the development helps with a ‘much needed mix of different levels of accommodation in the area’.

A public footpath runs to the south east of the site, connecting the road with the tennis courts and the park itself. The planning application says: “It is proposed that this footpath will remain and will be widened as part of the sale of the land from WCBC”.

The site plan is viewable below:

The development will have spaces for six cars.

The application notes that no neighbour or community consultation has taken place.
