The First Minister is set to announce the outcome of the latest review his government has made of the coronavirus regulations , as they are required to do every 21 days.

The announcement will be made at his 12:30 PM lunchtime briefing, which will then be followed by a Q&A session.

In the now regular ‘trailer’ for the briefing later today Welsh Government say, “In today’s 21 day coronavirus regulation review, First Minister Mark Drakeford is not expected to make major changes to Wales’ national coronavirus rules, as cases of the virus continue to rise.”

“However, in recognition of the emotional toll the virus can have on people living alone, the First Minister will make a change to local rules to support single parents and those living on their own in local lockdown areas.”

The full briefing can be viewed at 12:30 PM via the Welsh Government twitter account @WelshGovernment, or on S4C or BBC One Wales – however it appears the BBC cut part of the Q&A sessions off due to the 30 minute slot.
