Firefighters Tackling Large Fire in Llangollen

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service tackled a fire in Llangollen late into yesterday evening.

Update Thursday morning: Llangollen fire have tweeted this update…


Update: The fire has been contained and believe to be nearly out, one fire crew remains on scene.

Update: The Fire and Rescue Service say 20,000 square metres of land is estimated to have been alight.

Fire crews were called to the fire on Llangollen Panorama at 7:35pm.

One crew from Llangollen and two from Wrexham are currently at the scene, with involves 1000sq metres of heather.

Aled, who sent us the above and below videos said he thinks several fire engines are now attending the incident, with the second video showing two areas alight.
