Firefighters from Wrexham and Chirk tackling barn fire

Firefighters from Wrexham are currently tackling a barn fire near Whitchurch.

North Wales Fire Service say that crews from Wrexham and Chirk are assisting firefighters from Whitchurch and Maplas.

The barn fire is in the Eglwys Cross area.

Residents are being asked to close their windows and doors due to smoke in the area.
