A new hair studio has opened up on Bank Street.

Run by hairdresser Richard Prince, Femme Fatale opened its doors to the public three weeks ago. The studio is one of many new businesses to occupy a property on the street recently.

Richard, who has seven years experience as a hairdresser previously worked as a mobile hairdresser before decided to open his own studio.

“I’ve always wanted a salon and wanted to work for myself.” said Richard, “The name Femme Fatale is one that has just stuck in my head.”

The property had been empty for five – seven years, and looks a far cry from the condition Richard found it in when he first moved in. Femme Fatale was decorated largely by Rich, with some help from his family.

Femme Fatale offers everything from the conventional cut and blow dry, straight through to micro-ring hair extensions. Although early days, Richard already has plans to expand the business and hopes to eventually have a nail bar in the studio.
