Fat Boar Confirm Wrexham As Location For New Restaurant

The team behind the Fat Boar in Mold have this evening confirmed local rumours that they are opening a new restaurant in Wrexham town centre.

The above teaser picture was placed on social media with the comment “Delighted to be able to confirm that today we have completed on our second site in Wrexham town centre. A good few months work ahead.”

Last month the rumour mill was rife with it being confirmed an announcement was imminent for the yet unnamed premises, with one wag mentioning to us earlier if ‘Rotund Equus’ could be used.

The highly rated independent restaurant in Mold opened last year and at the time expansion was already mooted with Chester and the Wirral on the cards along with Wrexham.

This latest investment and vote of confidence in the town could see deconstructed beef wellington’s, five hour braised belly pork and ‘jus’ will becoming a staple in the town centre.
