A family from Wrexham have been left devastated after thieves broke into their home and stole sentimental jewellery and money.

The theft took place overnight on Friday 22nd / Saturday 23rd September when thieves targeted a property just off Colliery Road in Rhosddu.

We’re told the owners of the property, who are pensioners, arrived home to find two safes filled with sentimental jewellery, money and personal documents had been stolen.

One of the items stolen included a bracelet (pictured above), which is rose gold and has an identifiable small dent on the back of the heart clasp.

Another of the items include a silver ring which has a ‘Happy 21st Birthday’ message engraved inside.

Other items include a watch and silver and blue earrings, necklace and a ring.

A family member has told us she will offer a reward for any jewellery recovered or if any information is given to themselves or the police.

Anyone with any further information about the theft is advised to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference number RC17145124.
