Motorists are being warned of a road closure in the town centre due to emergency gas works.

Wrexham Council say that Chester Road, just after the entrance to the Library / Guildhall car park is currently closed heading towards town.

This is likely to continue until Monday.

People can still access the Library car park and Waterworld car park.

It is the second time in recent weeks that the road has been closed off due to gas related issues. However there is no indication that today’s incident is linked to Crown Buildings.
