Police are appealing for information after burglars broke into two neighbouring houses in Wrexham.

The offenders forced the patio doors of two homes in Sandway Road, Garden Village, between 11.10 and 11.30am on Tuesday morning February 10.

Residents reported that two males had been seen acting suspiciously, walking up various drives in the road. They were then seen leaving one of the burgled properties and heading towards Chester Road.

The suspects are described as in their 20’s. One was wearing a blue woolly hat and a blue tracksuit top. The other was described as having a gaunt face and wearing a grey hoodie and jeans. He was carrying a grey bag.

Inspector Paul Wycherley said; “Domestic burglaries are falling in Wrexham so these incidents yesterday are clearly of concern. I am asking that anyone with information about these offences calls police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting crime reference numbers S019496 and S019511.
