Waste collections will start from 6am on Wednesday (14 June).

Wrexham Council confirmed that rounds will start at the earlier time – rather than 7:30am – to help its crews avoid the hottest times of the day.

A spokesperson said: “If your waste is due for collection tomorrow please put your bins/boxes/bags out tonight if possible.

“Collections may be suspended if the weather becomes too hot for our teams.

“If your collection is missed, please be patient while we work to complete collections as quickly as possible.”
