Eagles Meadow Evacuated Due to Fire Alarm

Shops and restaurants on Eagles Meadow were evacuated this afternoon due to a fire alarm.

Update 4:45pm A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that two crews from Wrexham were called to Eagles Meadow due to an automated fire alarm in Burger King and there was no fire.

Shortly after 4:15pm this afternoon a number of fire engines were heard / seen driving through the town centre.

A number of shoppers have since been in touch with Wrexham.com to say that shops on Eagles Meadow have been evacuated due to a fire alarm – thought to be coming from Burger King.
