Drugs and cash seized during warrant in Penycae

A quantity of drugs and cash have been seized during a warrant in Wrexham today.

The Wrexham Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the raid at a premises in Penycae earlier this morning.

NWP Wrexham Rural say that a large amount of drugs, believed to be cannabis, was seized, along with cash and drug supply paraphernalia.

A woman was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

Anyone with concerns about drug supply in their area can report it to North Wales Police via the website, by calling 101, or anonymously via the independent charity CrimeStoppers.
