Driver of BMW charged with five offences following fail to stop on bypass that ended in Ruthin Road crash

A 22 year old man has been charged & remanded following the fail to stop on the A483/Ruthin Road on Sunday.

Police say Ashley Bennett has been charged with several offences including assaulting a police office, driving without insurance, failing to stop, disqualified driving and dangerous driving.

North Wales Police told us this afternoon, “This morning the driver of the BMW has been arrested and interviewed.

“He has been charged with five offences and remanded into Police Custody.

“He is appearing in Mold Court this afternoon for a remand application to be detained in prison until the case is heard in Crown Court.”
