Driver arrested after “officer smelt cannabis from a moving car on the A483”

A driver has been arrested after a police “officer smelt cannabis from a moving car on the A483.”

Wrexham town police say the officer who was on patrol stopped the vehicle and drug tested and searched the 22-year-old female driver.

Details released this afternoon by NWP Wrexham Rural, add: “The test was positive so she was arrested. Cannabis was seized and the driver is now off to court.”
