Popular Channel 4 cooking show Come Dine With Me is looking for culinary contestants in Wrexham.

The show’s producers have sent out a large number of letters to Wrexham residents already and are now asking for applications via phone and e-mail with the deadline on Friday.

So if you’re over 18 and fancy yourself as a budding chef and a good host to boot get in touch via email at [email protected] or call 08712003939.

Come Dine With Me is famed for its often eventful dinner parties and the cheeky voice overs of Dave Lamb.

The show has already been filmed in Wrexham once although its screening was delayed by over a year after a reference was made to Farah Fawcett in the episode, who by coincidence sadly died around the time it was due to be shown.

When it was eventually screened Nadine Leese from Overton was revealed as the winner of the £1,000 prize with her pick and mix platter of Moroccan mezze.

You can see the full Wrexham episode from 2009 on Youtube here here.
