The demolition of a former chapel in Wrexham town centre has begun.

Work on the site has been underway for several months – however demolition of the exterior of the building started on Saturday afternoon.

In February 2017 Wrexham.com reported that the redevelopment of the site received the backing of a backed by a £250,000 empty property loan from the Welsh Government’s Vibrant and Viable Places scheme.
