Motorists are warned of likely delays at the Grosvenor Road roundabout while works take place.

From today contractors working for Comex 2000 on behalf of FibreSpeed, a Welsh Government initiative, are installing new ducting to improve and upgrade digital connectivity in the Wrexham area on Rhosddu Road and Grosvenor Road.

To allow the works to go ahead traffic flow has been controlled using multi way traffic lights.

A council spokesperson said: “As the works now approach the Grosvenor Road roundabout there’s likely to be delays in this area from Friday 20 until 22 November and again the following weekend 28 and 29 November.

“Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible or to allow extra time for their journey.”
