A lane on the A483 has reopened after a car and a caravan overturned this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the incident on the northbound carriageway at around 4:30pm.

Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were called to the scene, however no one was taken to hospital.

Lane one of the carriageway was closed while the vehicle was recovered.

There were long delays on the A483 while the lane closure was in place, with traffic at a standstill around the Gresford Roundabout and in both directions through Pandy.

Traffic has now returned to normal and both lanes of the A483 have reopened.
