An appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage has been issued after stones were thrown at a car whilst driving on Ruthin Road.

The incident happened on Sunday April 22 at around 8pm on the A525 near the caravan site off the Wrexham by-pass.

Police say that three young girls were seen standing by the side of the road allegedly throwing stones at passing motorists, hitting a blue ford Kuga 4×4 damaging the rear left side passenger door.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 reference W051857.

On Sunday evening there were several reports of eggs also being thrown at vehicles on the Ruthin Road area.
